“Avanceon and Faran Sugar Mills previously had successful automation projects, mainly related to boiler automation. Faran Sugar Mills provided an opportunity for Avanceon to automate their Auto-Cane Feeding & Mill House (a very typical application to automate). We are pleased to say that the Avanceon team was able to deliver the complete turnkey project within the ongoing sugar season. The final quantified results will be calculated next year after full season’s performance; however, we are pleased to communicate that there were no breakdowns or backlogs during the time the mill operated on the new control system. Our floor operators remain satisfied with the regularity the new system offers and we are eagerly looking forward to calculate the exact efficiency improvements next year, Insha’Allah.”
